Re-releasing the PSP or something new?

Those of us who want to replace our psp systems have little options, re-releasing it could fix this. The psp is certainly cheaper to mass produce then the vita so it should be considered. The handheld gaming industry shouldn't go away. With that said, an entirely new system could be developed, which should be no larger then a smartphone.
